Ive always been fascinated that the media pushes the south as some sort of racist apocalyptic zone, when in fact there is far more interracial engagment down there than anywhere else. I live outside New York surrounded by liberals, but it is so outrageously segregated that i can go weeks without seeing a black person other than one passing in a car where i live. 5 miles away its the complete reverse.
Love wins. Here in SC black and whites still engage with each other as before. Its not working because it is fake.
