Don't believe that to be the case. They cheated in 2016 and for many years before that too. 2016 cheating just wasn't enough to keep Trump out. They made him a joke, thinking they had it in the bag because polls said he had no chance so they didn't need to cheat much. They were proven wrong but they were VERY ready for 2020.
Oh...I agree. I guess 2016 was the last national election to produce the actual valid winner.
