You can still donate blood afterward and don't even have limitations on interacting with people sexually. You also get over it eventually without any treatment and survive more often than not unless you are already a foot past death's door. It's almost impossible to die of it if you are bare minimum "slacker" healthy and younger than 40.
If you have HIV/Aids- your waste and blood is a bio hazardous material as recognized by every medical body and you can't even donate blood as a result. You have it for life, it will never "Get better" and regardless of age and health it will 100 percent kill you without a lifelong regiment of drugs and medication and your ravaged immune system practically turns you into a walking petri dish.
