Thinking about it last night sitting there with my family snuggled on the couch together... We are losing the battle and the war against the left/BLM/socialists precisely because of the things we are protecting. We are trying to keep the waves away to save them today but the tide is rising nonetheless. We go off to protest and things get messy, we'll get locked up (or worse) and possibly never see our families again. If we don't protest and one day they come (for whatever reason) and you stand for your inalienable rights as an American and we may never see our families again creating the Ouroboros Effect. The tide continues to rise. We typically are good people, we have family, houses, friends, and careers we love and care for. We stand for something wholehearted and are decent. We teach our children that causing others harm isn't acceptable (unless in defense), we don't loot & murder and instill those values in them too. But it seems the only way to win the battle and eventually the war is to start burning opposing views out (not advocating violence or harm) and thus throwing all our morals and values out the window. This is extremely hard for the average someone that has them imbedded in their soul. Like many of you I will stand and fight to the death with family and friends if attacked but to just go after a target directly because their views aren't shared.... that's not something I'm willing to risk my family and home for and most of you aren't willing to do so either. It's those morals and ethics that create the Ouroboros Effect but the tide keeps rising...

Their thugs are homeless people and drug addicts. They're literally risking nothing, because they don't value their lives. 6 months in jail is nothing to them.
On the right, there are people with jobs and families. If you spend 6 months in jail, you lose your job/career/house.
They have literally nothing to lose, and you're potentially risking a lot. Getting into a violent conflict with them just doesn't work.
That's essentially what I was saying. They have nothing to lose and we have everything. But ultimately if we do nothing we'll likely lose it anyways at today's rapid rate of degeneration.
Yeah, but they can't kill everyone with a job. They still need people to build their cars and fix their toilets. (Well, China and Russia did that in their communist revolutions, which pretty much ruined their country for decades, murdering the most productive people.)
When they start coming for families that's when 1776 happens. Nothing else matters but your family, and these evil people won't hesitate to come after them.

I think we're losing the battles, but we are not losing the war. Remember the 55 national speed limit? Nobody liked it, everybody ignored and hated it. The gov eventually got around to getting rid of it, because it was a joke. Remember marijuana? In the past, you could life in jail for that crap, but now nobody wants to deal with it, and it is legal in half the states.
But this has always been the case. Society rejected slavery long before the gov did, and society rejected segregation long before the government did.
The point is, over the long term, politics is down stream from culture, but culture is slowly but surely turning away from the left.
For over 50 years, the left has tried to distort the culture by controlling Hollywood, the media, the news, education, and every other institution they could think of including the internet, and immigration. Yet Trump still got elected, by a lot, and was overwhelmingly popular. The forces that bypassed their strangle hold on information are not going away, but are getting larger. In spite of their tremendous efforts, society has rejected their race baiting gender baiting socialism, and this is not going away.
It may take awhile, but eventually they will fall and we will win.

The "value" of owning a media company (TV/Newspaper or social media) is not so much the profit. The "value" is the ability to shape public opinion.
It's OK to lose money, provided the "right" people win elected office and give you bailouts or other subsidies (direct or indirect).
For the past 4 years, the media was a non-stop anti-Trump hate program. If Democrats had to actually pay for that much as a commercial, it would have cost trillions.
I guess I should have included the gov in that diatribe too. I do agree with the head of the snake but still same outcome I think.

I agree and I can see that. And I know that it is. I know antifa isn't in most our backyards but I'm not terribly far from Portland and it really is in my backyard. They've crossed the river a few times over onto my side. I am not afraid of them one bit and thankfully I'm just far enough away to not have to deal with it. But for many around here it's an everyday thing to get the fuck outta portland before dark. I know many around here that want nothing more than to go smash their faces in but are held back by the reasons I listed above. Just unfortunate is all
No its not happening which is shitty. But the cucked media probably wouldn't even call you back here locally. The Psyop is strong but people are seriously getting injured for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time down there. Again, just unfortunate we can't put out those fires quickly and swiftly without serious consequence
