Addition is actually quite correct, but not to the cheap foreign goods. Those are just a symptom. It is an addition to other things that allowed that state to arise.

And now, here we are. China is going full on "make a man out of you" on their young boys. Where in America, young boys are being told that they are too young to know for certain if they are a boy, and that they MIGHT in fact be a girl.

Let’s say you buy some meat at the supermarket. Chances are both the styrofoam plate and the plastic wrap used to seal it were made in China. Even American made products often contain Chinese made components.
If it’s manufactured, chances are it’s made in China. That’s how much of the market they’ve cornered in that sector.
