I don't buy that poll. Smacks of the same propaganda about Catholics wanting the papacy to rule the world or Christians who want the US to be a theocracy. Sure those people exist, but not 81%, more like 8.1%. Most Muslims prefer their govts to be "secular but respectful", not run by extremists. Unfortunately, those Muslims never make the news...except when blown up by the nutjobs.
That poll was conducted by Muslims for Muslims, hence likely more reliable than any of those conducted by the fake news media outlets and pollsters (98% chances of winning for Crooked Hillary in 2016, for example) in the West, because Muslim responders had no reason to use taqiyya against fellow Muslims as they often do against the kaffir. You are correct that non-violent Muslims exist but they are the small minority, not the majority Sunni nor Shia.
