maybe it's just because I live in a very blue area. But everybody I see in-person or on social media is all for the vaccine. They are lining up in cars at random pop-up vaccine sites. They're declaring proudly their certifications with pictures online. They're pressuring everybody around me to get the vaccine so society can open up. I can't believe people are just giving in... when I mention all the vaccine passport stuff that these people once called 'conspiracy' now they just shrug and tell me to 'do my part' so that we can 'return to normal'
If i tell them about the side effects, they usually scoff or tell me "I'll be fine, I'm not worried about that"

I'm not say it works or doesn't work, but the side effects so far seem to few enough their argument sounds a lot like the argument to leave me alone and not make me wear a mask, just in reverse.
If they want to line up and get their vaccines, and that makes them throw away their masks, I'm all for it. Them getting a shot is a small price to pay to ditch the mask.
There will be no mask ditching tho
