Here in the DC/NOVA area, the public school systems are bleeding out ...everyone I know who can afford to move is doing so. The enrollment stats for Fairfax County dropped bigly. Assume DC also, but they seldom release stats timely and the ones they do release are likely fiddled. (DC receives $31,000+ per year per student. 50% dropout rate, virtually none of the students can read/write at grade level.)
