My family is fairly large and I've never heard of anyone in my family ever having to go to the hospital over a vaccine before. The fact it happened with this covid vaccine just highlights how frequent reactions are. She's fine now but that's scary. She's 29yo and perfectly healthy.

Regardless of who I talk to, Liberal or Conservative, on the topic of vaccines, I tell them to get tested for allergens. Even the safest, proof-by-legacy, well trusted vaccine can kill you if you are allergic to one of the compounds within it. This includes the vaccines for COVID, and there are allergy tests available for them, so ask first.
