I mean out of all the Silicon Valley Billionaires the way he did it is the most rags to riches. Also dude was a killer programmer, not some marketer in a suit. So I have more respect for him than the others.

The only thing Gates really stole on the way up was DOS. And that was after Gary Kildall told IBM to fuck themselves so they had no choice.

Now years later they certainly stole all kinds of ideas and his support of big pharmaceutical goals in the United States is stupid and more than troublesome.
