I know that one of his parents was on the IBM board or similar, so he definitely had a leg up, but I'm not too familiar.

That said, I didn't mean to imply that his success was from merit. Instead, I was trying to say that he can't blame his evil on a distant blood relation to a Rockefeller. He made his own choices.

Yeah, it's hardly a rags to riches story. His parents were millionaires back when that really meant something. His dad had ties with the Nazis, and he was a lawyer. Both Bill Sr. and Mary Gates were on a variety of key political and business boards. His mom was so influential, she got him that deal with IBM for MS-DOS.

It's crazy that Bill Gates is seen as a "rags to riches" story, when it's absolutely not true.

After he basically stole DOS from Gary Kildall. If I remember right, Kildall may not have seen the future of home computing though.

The cabal had a vested interest in computers from the very beginning. They developed (or buried from public view, depending on how you look at it) the concept of economic engineering long before they had the computational power to actually utilize it on a global scale.

Check out IBM and the Holocaust.

Here's a Huffpost article (archived) by the author, Edwin Black, that gives a good introduction to the book.

That’s not how the MS DOS deal went down.

It’s actually a very interesting story and I encourage you to read it.

If you feel like Gates would lie about it read from the IBM perspective.

Gates actually told them to go buy CPM first.

High profile Liberals spend their whole lives crafting a fake, sympathetic past.

Well his father was a doctor who loved eugenics. This wasn’t just jr. Deciding to be a mass murderer on his own. Seems like the family business.

Potentially his grandfather as well, as his name was listed in a photo of the Second International Congress of Eugenics (1921) https://archive.vn/ql0Bb (131. W. H. Gates)

Mary Ann Gates (née Maxwell; July 5, 1929 – June 10, 1994) was an American businesswoman who also served for 18 years, 1975–1993, on the University of Washington board of regents.[1][2][3]

She was the first female president of King County's United Way, the first woman to chair the national United Way’s executive committee where she served most notably with IBM's CEO, John Opel, and the first woman on the First Interstate Bank of Washington's board of directors. Her son Bill Gates is a co-founder of Microsoft.[1]

Gates’ father got him a Congressional Page job when he was in high school. That’s where Gates was most likely ass-raped by several members of Congress, who used him as a boy toy. Later I’m sure he cashed that in.
