Judging people by their religious beliefs is actually stupid. You must think Pence is a standup guy.

Also, Pence has some major problems with his religious stance if he will knowingly endorse obvious fraud. Christians ought to be about truth. Fraud is not truth. That calls into question their religiosity. I dont really want someone to merely be religious. There are plenty of frauds that are religious.

But irreligion is not an acceptable replacement for religion. I want for people to be truly religious and provide for the fatherless and the widows.

I also do not think my opinion is better than Rand's. I am a flawed human being, just as she was. By the Grace of God, I believe on Christ, and I lament that she did not.

I disagree with that. Religion is highly important, and should call into question the values of a person. I do not want people like Rand locked up over their beliefs. That would be abhorrent to me. I also think it is folly to be godless.

Be that as it may, people should be free to choose. I would not disagree with Rand on that point.

The value of someone's life is greater than their religious opinion, without question. My point is that I value the soul of someone more than I value their opinions on economics. Throwing away ones own soul is pitiful to me, and leading people astray in religion is to be spoken out against. Rand wrote of the great symbol at the end of Atlas Shrugged, and I found it evident that she wished to replace God with capitalism and personal development. Perhaps I am wrong, but I do not base my opinion on that alone.
