It seems like an intentional gaslightlighting effort combined with conservatives not being able to come up with their own strong points of attack. Memes are one thing but the left, with the MSM, can set the entire narrative of the country's political discourse. So the right doesn't know what to do besides try to co-opt the left's weapons.
