Honestly. This sort of thing is interesting, but McDonalds is just going to eventually design a machine that you just load the frozen fries into and it'll do the rest. Eventually the only fast food jobs left will be the person who restocks the automated restaurant, and the person who repairs and maintains it.
They had fry hoppers in the 90s. They sucked to clean, and a human had to bring the case of fries from the freezer to load into the hopper. Humans unloaded the truck too. It would take a lot more than flippy to replace a restaurant staff.
