UK police started with that. Cops would come around to talk to you and intimidate people over comments they posted. A few years later after populace got used to the idea that police should be coming to the door over internet comments, they started arresting people.

I know, and all of Europe's worst policies eventually find their way to the states. Maybe the Supreme Court will rule this unconstitutional 🤣 (not holding my breath!)
