I mean, that would be the entire basis for the coup, yes. It's great justifation and should work. Mid level officers need to band together, command the troops and take out all the generals + policians + media + tech company CEO's in one swoop. It can be done. They should have the capability. You don't even need that many guys. It would help to have some top level guys on your side though.

If there is any hope in this, its from mid level officers forming a coalition, in secret, and doing whatever they can to oppose this shit with the backing of the enlisted fighting men. If you or anyone you know was or is in the military and you still have connections to it and know NCOs who respect you and will listen to your advice, I advise everyone to reach out and really speak out against this stuff. Say its going to far, you dont like it, and we need to do something proactive to do it. If you can, publicly denounce it.
We unforuntaly do not have a Franco or Pinochet in the American Military to lead this sort of thing from the top, but we do have mid level officers, and just like Nasser in Egypt, or Gaddafi in Libya, these officers need to form an informal alliance with others like them, with the popular support of the enlisted, and lead a peaceful rebuke of this faggotry from up on high.
Make no mistake, this is simply to caponize the soul of the fighting men of the military, who are all the vast majority MAGA country types from flyover America, from not using their force against the tyrants in Washington DC.
