Yep, I built a bed about a year ago using 2x4s and 2x8s and it cost me less than $150 for the entire project. Me and my husband are thinking of redoing our basement into a master bed/bath and went to Lowe’s yesterday to see what all they had and the price of lumber is ridiculous now. We’re still going to do it but now it’s going to cost a lot more and thus more time to complete.
