My cousin (65 or so) had it bad. After monoclonal antibodies, she was still hospitalized briefly and placed on a ventilator for 3-4 days. Ventilator treatment is a lot gentler and shorter, now, and they use a whole lot less sedative for it. She's out and recovering slowly, but recovering.
