I'm in CA and this is true!! I was browsing homes and one said in the listing "DO NOT DISTURB RESIDENT! HOME WILL BE SOLD WITH TENANT IN PLACE." I looked more into it and it's real!! An acquaintance's father, has apartment buildings and can't collect rent! lol. CA everybody.
