A friend of mine who is a raging leftist (yes, I know) invited my family and me to visit her summer house this summer, but she said we have to be vaccinated. I told her that if she and her family are vaccinated, why should it matter whether we are vaccinated? If the vaccine works, you're protected. It's been a while since I've gone to school, but I'm pretty sure that's what a vaccine is supposed to do.

She claimed that the vaccine does not protect you from getting covid, but it lessens the symptoms when you get it. I have no idea whether this is the case, but it sounds pretty weird to me. I reminded her that in my family we all have had it already and with minimal symptoms, they really couldn't have been much less. I told her that if the vaccine doesn't prevent people from getting the virus, then the vaccine sucks and there's no point in us getting it. I told her that if it will make her feel better, I'll lie to her and say we all got it if we decide to come. Not that we will actually go, because my wife doesn't want to associate with any democrats anymore, but that's another story.

Very bizarre, these leftists.

Are you sure they’re leftists? Lol.

Or are they just conformists/ normal people who hate to break from the “mainstream” and stand out as an outsider?

I feel as if this is why a vast majority are getting it... they’re just going along with the mainstream hive mind....

Sometimes those kind of people can be red pilled with the right information.

No, they are definitely leftists. We've had many political discussions. They typically end up with them tuning out once I present actual evidence.
