Absolutely this is the correct response. Anybody else remember McGovern who tried to start a bed and breakfast business after he left Congress, and who said “If he knew how much trouble it was obeying all the laws and rules Congress passes, he woulda never have voted for them,” paraphrased.

The absolutely correct way to answer this commie min wage bullshit is to tell these otherwise-incompetent lawmakers to go and start their own business and pay their employees more than they are worth, in terms of their job, and then see how long they are still in business.

Dems love employees but hate employers. Dumbest people on earth.

Bernie was a jobless bum into his 40's until he ran for some local office for something to do. He is leftist scum to the core.

ENormaStitz 43 points ago +44 / -1

I heard that even when he was young and joined a commune, he was the laziest one there and they kicked him out.

20

They kibbutz his ass out of there

17
TCPatriot 17 points ago +17 / -0

So, he was rejected by commies for not being a good commie?

5
MrStep 5 points ago +5 / -0

He was the definition of a good commie, letting himself be given his fair share regardless of his own effort. The commune sounds like it just failed to apply communism correctly, like every other place that has tried. No fears, it's going to work really well here!

svartchimpans 11 points ago +11 / -0

Lazy pieces of subhuman shits demand that we pay everyone $15 no matter the job, and that we hire based on skin and gender instead of merit. They definitely want the economy to fail so they can bring in socialism!

Dems don't love employees.

They love voter plantations, which is what unions are.

Dems hate everything and everyone but themselves.

2
Junionthepipeline 2 points ago +2 / -0

My unions are awsome

1
NZbacon 1 point ago +1 / -0

How so?

3
jomten 3 points ago +3 / -0

Union sends out leftist talking points and voter information guides that basically just say vote straight ticket communist.

All the actual union workers are Trump supporters. Unions just get kickbacks from Dems and launder money with them. Teamsters been doing that since the beginning IIRC

Why isn't there an unemployment union? On yea there is. The DNC

11
james43552352345 11 points ago +11 / -0

Dems have shit for brains.

The minimum wage doesn't do shit when you think about it.

Just imagine if minimum wage is $15/hr but the USA sucks competitively so the unemployment rate is high. How long do you think the min wage will stay at $15/hr? Not very long. People will demand the minimum wage be lowered so they can get a job.

It works in the opposite direction as well. Minimum wage could be scrapped and the vast majority of people would not be paid less and most people wouldn't be working for $2/hr but what would happen is everyone would be able to find a job doing something, as long as the value of their labor is a positive value to their employer.

So how do you make people better off? Make the USA competitive globally, attract more work to the USA, attract more businesses to the USA and so on....in other words.....put Trump back in office which is what he was doing the entire fucking time he was in office. Unemployment was at historic lows when Trump was president until corona came. Then unemployment rocketed up DIRECTLY as a result of government shut downs.

8
ENormaStitz 8 points ago +8 / -0

You are right. Trump was right. Dems make me sick

3
softhack 3 points ago +3 / -0

Minimum wage does jack shit if business can charge you more based on it.

1
james43552352345 1 point ago +1 / -0

-2
EggOfDelusion -2 points ago +1 / -3

Getting rid of minimum wage is a scam. They will import 100s of millions just to pay them next to nothing. Don't listen to those lolbertarians they are retarded.

2
james43552352345 2 points ago +3 / -1

Still doesn't matter. You'll still be unemployed if 100s of millions of new people come in. Also, what exactly stops the companies from moving the jobs overseas? Nothing.

Get skills and become valuable in the work force. This is the only thing that will save you. Nothing else will. No promise or protection from the government will protect you.

6

Currently reading Peterson’s new book. Pretty good so far. And as for Bernie, he’s a communist so the only business he’s in is scamming people out of money while crying about workers rights. Communist love other peoples money. And control over said people and their money.

Under Trump's presidency, I was able to increase the wages of my employees across the board, but I'm afraid that we're going to go back in the other direction and I'm going to have to reduce wages to avoid going into the red.

The same idiots that think taxing gas companies makes gas cheaper think that taxing employers makes employees wages higher. You can't fix stupid.

5
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 5 points ago +5 / -0

Mismanagement of finances has more to do with poverty than how much you earn at your job.

5
QanonIsMyDad 5 points ago +5 / -0

Love JBP. Saw him live in Miami. But just to be clear, the dude isn't right about everything. He's suffered a lot lately, especially with the benzos and shit. My heart goes out to him.

But in terms of a lot of the "relationship advice" he's given to young males, a lot of it is bs. Just look at his daughter and how all that has turned out.

Jordan is such a sweet guy and it's only natural he brought his daughter in on his success (she fine too, lol) but holy hell, she nearly ruined him. She also dumped her boyfriend and got with a Chad destroyer from Eastern Europe.

Kind of disproved all of Jordan's theories about male/female mating right there.

Damn...

2
MustBeTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Which theories about relationship do you think he specifically got wrong?

I've heard a bit of what he has to say and I know he encourages communication and pretty much treating your girl as an equal which other sites (redpill) would disagree with.

Most of the time though he references studies and examples of successful or failed relationships to back up what he's saying.

2
QanonIsMyDad 2 points ago +2 / -0

Essentially this.

He takes a more egalitarian approach to male/female dynamics as opposed to recognizing, perhaps on a greater level, that there are indeed drastic differences between men and women, hypergamy being the BIG one

2
MustBeTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think he's optimistic about girls not being complete hamsters that can and will do whatever they want given the least amount of plausible deniability, but he does mention hypergamy so he's at least a little bit honest about it.

1
QanonIsMyDad 1 point ago +1 / -0

I would agree with the optimism part, yes. It’s important not to be too jaded, though it is very difficult not to be... (given the current state of our social media age and the constant validation young women especially receive)

2
BloodyWolf 2 points ago +2 / -0

Isn't it more important to construct accurate intellectual models even if they tell us things we don't want to hear?

1
QanonIsMyDad 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, yes I do agree.

I suppose what I meant was that one should do their part to, while acquiring the knowledge about how things really are, do their best to not slide into anger or hatred over it.

You know what you know and then apply it without any negative feeling attached to it

2
Kbotei 2 points ago +2 / -0

When did she dump her boyfriend? All the info I found when searching seems to indicate she is still with him.

2
QanonIsMyDad 2 points ago +2 / -0

Apparently before she got with this dude, she split with her long-time bf. That’s what I heard. This new guy she met in Russia when taking her dad to therapy

1
koditxu 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m out of the loop on what happened with his daughter. What happened?

2
QanonIsMyDad 2 points ago +2 / -0

Basically, from what I heard, she was with her bf of several years but then obviously JBP got really big. He started sharing more of his success with her and bringing her in on things (she went on Joe Rogan, her and Jordan wrote a book together, etc).

Then she ended up, because of his health declining, managing most of JBP’s platform and also taking him around the world to various treatment centers for benzo withdrawal.

It was at this point somewhere in Russia or Eastern Europe (while taking her dad to one of these centers), she met this swole Alpha chad and basically broke it off with her boyfriend of many years to get with homeboy. Pictures of her with him on social media soon emerged.

It is what it is, and I don’t condemn or condone. I just kind of feel bad for JBP because it literally blows holes in the poor guy’s views about the egalitarian approach to men/women and their dynamics when it comes to mating and relationships 🤷🏻‍♂️

2
koditxu 2 points ago +2 / -0

It blows my mind people still support this guy. I give 2016 Bernie supporters a pass, but he's done absolutely nothing for five years except bitch about problems while nominations keep getting stolen from him. His supporters got treated worse than dog crap at the 2016 DNC convention and he said nothing. He's a total fraud.

2

I don't. If you were over 21, you had to be stone cold stupid and willfully ignorant to support him.

He was somewhat of an economic populist and opposed illegal immigration. I was never a supporter but I kind of get it. If you're a young millennial who knows the system is broken but doesn't understand the difference between capitalism and crony capitalism, I can understand why he would be appealing.

Sanders is a gatekeeper of socialist bullshit. Just there to keep more extreme voices in check. He's never tried to be president and never had any intention of getting there. Collect some free money and introduce people to radical ideas as a starting point and then point the masses to the candidate their masters actually want as president. His wife stole millions from the college Sanders got her the job at. They both make millions off back of their socialist 'gib free shit to everyone' bullshit rhetoric.

The crazy thing is, most of their families have started businesses that they run their campaign donations through. Bernie's wife and daughter take 10% off the top of all his advertising spending. Maxine Waters' daughter gets paid to do all her mailers.

Then there's their foundations that take money from lobbyists and hire friends and family to launder it back to the legislators on gift cards, etc.

AND he needs to pay them $25/hour to start with a great union negotiating big frequent raises!

Because jobs should guarantee financial freedom and financial success! Right Bernie?!?

Show us how it’s done! It’s a great way for him to showcase everything he’s fighting for!!!

People don’t start a business to lift other people out of poverty, they start a business to get themselves a better life and along the way their workers benefit. It’s not the employers duty to share the wealth or provide benefits that make owning a business less profitable, It’s not the government’s place to mandate that either.

1
cosmos411 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bernie also needs to understand the difference between a "career" and a "job". Sorry Bernie, but stocking shelves, scanning items at a cash register, cleaning up trash etc aren't living wage jobs. They're a step to something bigger, e.g. move up to store manager or get job experience for the next job. I was a stock-boy after school growing up and the pay was enough for comics, movies, extra things I wanted, and later on beer. The difficulty or skill required for a "job" dictates the pay, not the age or economic requirements of the person.

1

I've tried to say this to people who talk about how a business should be run. I ask them if they even know anyone who has to keep a business afloat, I almost never get any sort of answer to that question because most leftists have zero clue about what a business is or what it costs to run one. JP puts it simply but the process of doing those two things is a huge effort, one that many are not cut out for.
