I give 2016 Bernie supporters a pass, but he's done absolutely nothing for five years except bitch about problems while nominations keep getting stolen from him. He was somewhat of an economic populist and opposed illegal immigration. I was never a supporter but I kind of get it. If you're a young millennial who knows the system is broken but doesn't understand the difference between capitalism and crony capitalism, I can understand why he would be appealing.
