All natural. Turns out the hippies had a point

Yes and no; The ideal is right.

But the Hippies tend to take it in two extremes that are both bad.

the "All real, absolutely only from nature real, not touched by Humans" - These are the ones that refuse to eat anything other than plant scraps, and don't want scary "GMO" foods; real fun to explain to them that every crop and animal that's been domesticated by humans is technically a GMO. Soy, for example, is actually one of the most genetically modified crops grown in the US... Irony. (Dogs, as another fun example, are also GMO's - It's in the name, Genetically modified, organisms; not just applicable to food.)

And the "It says all natural, so it is!" - Basically the stupid hipster that buys all the most expensive food at the boutique markets for insane markups; too stupid to realize all the marketing fluff is all lies, and it's the same processed shit that you can buy for pennies on the pound if you buy bulk. These are also the ones that keep this faux market alive by paying 400% markup for "Sugar Free Sugar" and "Fat Free Fat"

If you have a yard, learn to grow your own crops; if you really can't, find a farmers market, or try to buy directly from farms and ranches. It's what my great grandpa did; grew his own food in his yard, bought fresh chickens, fresh cut beef, caught fish; made his own damn food.

It's also not like he lived way out in the country with acres of land, he lived in a dense suburb, he and the rest of our family own about 4 of the 8 houses on that block, and he used most of their yards for farming... He passed away about 12 years ago, but my family still farms those yards. So, living in a suburb isn't an excuse for not being able to grow some crops for yourself.

Dr Pepper, that makes me sad it's on the list. OTH, water is very inexpensive and beer is better.

From what I understand it's more of a distribution thing than coke outright owning dr. pepper.

There is an * there and I don't know what it means. But I do know that Dr. Pepper is not a brand from Coca-Cola. Dr. Pepper and 7up are together the owner of their own brands.
