I'm having a similar issue, only once I suspected there were pictures being deleted from my phone I started taking screenshots of my gallery. I have proof that I'm missing pictures/memes from my phone that I know I didn't delete.
And it's driving me crazy that it's being talked about so little.
I am low tech. I use a Kyocera flip phone and an Apple mini ipad thats mobile. I was able to delete google and use any other search I wanted but not google. I have no connection to google.
On the other hand, I havent been able to sign in with my Apple mini ipad since PW did an update a few days ago so what do I know. I have to keep creating new accounts.😡
But get rid of google as much as you can and dont use them as your search engine
