I hate to say this. Georgia is a fine state. I’ve visited for work, and even lived there for a brief period, in the early 70’s. But Atlanta ranks right up there, as one of America’s great shithole cities. If not for Atlanta, Georgia would be a nice place to stay

Savannah isn't so hot either. Well, literally speaking it is but you know.
My favorite vacation desination but my wife absolutely vetoed the idea of moving there for exactly these reasons....
Last I went it was like a flat San Fransisco. Riddled with homeless and garbage. They always take over and shit on the best towns on purpose, I swear.
The trick is to book a vacation and never deviate from the plan.
Becasue that town goes from Southern Gentry to Detroit without the charm with a quickness.
Similar issue(s) to Atlanta.
