No where in the Quran does it mention Sharia Law. A group of fanatics just came up with another set of writings and believe it.

Sharia isn't something separate from Islam. It's a body of rules taken from the Koran and the ahadith, which are historical narrations of Mohammed's words and deeds. Sharia IS Islam.

Sharia applies to everyone, not just Muslims. In fact, the majority of Sharia is about us non-Muslims, and how we should live - in subjugation to the inherently superior Muslims. Sharia is violent, openly bigoted toward non-Muslims, and brutally sexist. It is explicitly opposed to religious freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the free exchange of ideas.

  • Sharia is mandatory for Muslims. Koran 5:48

  • Muslims are not permitted to pick and choose which parts to follow. Koran 33:36

  • The establishment of Sharia is a fundamental objective of every Muslim. Koran 9:29

  • Any government that limits Sharia in any way is the enemy of Allah and must be fought. Sahih Muslim 1:33 and many more

  • Sharia directly violates at minimum our First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, Thirteenth, and Fourteenth Amendments. It has no place ANYWHERE in the U.S.

  • Large sections of Sharia govern the practice of slavery. Slavery has been an inherent part of Islam since its beginning and is still practiced to this day.

  • The Koran actually devotes more verses (four) to making sure that Muslim men know they can keep women as rape slaves than it does to telling them to pray five times a day (zero). Koran 33:50, 4:24, 23:5-6, 8:69

Now how many of you want Muslims in our armed forces, our police force, our schools, our government?

This ex-Muslim explains what it's like to live under Sharia.
