Lost in all the Hulk Hogans, Stone Colds, and The Rocks, is the greatest wrestling character of all time. Roddy Piper. He was a smart ass and as a heel still had you rooting for him. His bigotry hysterical, his one liners epic, his on/off switch predictably awesome. I'll never forget him busting Jimmy Snuka upside the head with a coconut. 7 different layers of greatness.
This happens frequently. People will kneejerk toward something they've been told is "evil" and they don't investigate. It happens so much it's got it's own name (kinda): Dunning-Kruger.
Fuck yea. Crazy how movies from my early 20's that I loved and were profoundly impacted by were almost warnings at the same time. It's like all the cultural works of art that impacted me the most were shit like this. I finally bought it today, took a fat dab and felt like I was 22 again watching it for the first time and remembered how different things were when I saw it. Like other people have said here, it's almost like the people making this world "clown world" are doing it on purpose at this point just to trigger us into doing something stupid. I'm just glad this site exists because for the past 5-6 years reddit has changed massively, just like Digg changed, just like video games changed and movies and culture and politics, and I could go on and on and on. They have all changed, but in an unfortunately predictable (in a bad way) fashion. Change isn't bad, but this is like being in the back of a roller coaster visually seeing where it's gonna drop but having to wait until the front goes down first.
Bill Maher has a production company called Kid Love Productions. He is very anti Trump. His production company made a movie in 1991 called Pizza Man in which Maher plays a pizza delivery guy who ultimately kills Donald Trump in the film’s climax. Former porn queen Jenna Jameson once threatened to expose his activities at the Playboy mansion.
Maher thinks comedy is being smug and insulting people. He doesnt make insightful commentary. Even his leftist audience finds that tiresome after a while. Roddy is right, he did suck dick to get/keep his job.
with the advent of the "me too" grifters, and various others coming forward as adults claiming to be sexually assaulted/raped in a quid pro quo exchange for fame, you know Maher did too. Hes been on air for a long long time, doing the same smug insulting schtick, no change in his methodology. His viewership has dropped below 1.5M, which is less than some moderately popular YouTuber. All in an industry that has probably the highest competition in the world. And HBO has renewed his crappy show for 2 more years.
Roddy was taken advantage of himself as a homeless teenager trying to break into the wrestling business in Canada, he's all but said it directly himself that he was raped or molested. He knows what's up in Hollywood for sure.
Legend... I grew up with that man. Watching wrestling at my grandmother, all together with the family in front of a small TV. Me as a 7 year old had to sit on the carpet, but still... great memories.
Fuck. They probably took him out. I honestly, after the last year, believe the baddies are systematically taking out anyone who is any kind of famous, who knows the truth and doesn't fall in lock step with the agenda.

Was also in They Live. Based movie.

Love the fight scene! Trying to wake normies is like trying to get Frank to put on the glasses.
That would scene is hilarious
I loved the legit wrestling moves they were doing in that fight scene! Good seeing a young Keith David!
Based movie now. At the time it was John Carpenter's "take down" of Ronald Reagan and the "republican elite." My how times have changed.
A person can be right for the wrong reason. Perhaps he subconsciously knew something was wrong but had attributed the wrong source
Happens a TON in Hollywood. When you look at the movies that 'hit' they are almost always rooted in conservative beliefs.
Kinda like Hunger Games

Could not have said it better. Roddy was awesome.

Think in this.
Maher thinks comedy is being smug and insulting people. He doesnt make insightful commentary. Even his leftist audience finds that tiresome after a while. Roddy is right, he did suck dick to get/keep his job.
That was a quick response on Roddy's
Hell yeah. Maher got burned hard.

He absolutely sucked someones dick for his fame.
"Well how'd you get the job?" LMAO
Epic reply...
Hes a pedo, not a faggot.
Huge difference.
Look up his production company name
Maybe he’s both...
PUT ON THE DAMN GLASSES MAHER! Body slam on top of car in back alley

Good for Roddy. RIP man.

I got Piper’s autograph shortly before he died. He said he was working on something big.
Fuck. They probably took him out. I honestly, after the last year, believe the baddies are systematically taking out anyone who is any kind of famous, who knows the truth and doesn't fall in lock step with the agenda.
I've never looked into the circumstances of his death. I know a lot of the deaths of rappers lately seem to be pretty suspicious.
Maher: I'm not dropping my pants in front of men
Roddy: [laughing] How'd you get the job?
ZING!
This format of mhar was way better, was even better on comedy central before moving, always been a little bitch but the shows format was better...
Roddy was right.
The man was everywhere back in the day.
https://youtu.be/LxLhytQ67fs Cameo in a Goonies soundtrack video.
That was some fucked up shit. Lol what the hell was that?
“I’M HERE TO KICK ASS AND CHEW BUBBLE GUM. AND I’M ALL OUT OF BUBBLE GUM !”
Based
That man gave zero fucks.
"How'd you get the job?"
:D
When I was a little kid, all of the kids loved Hulk Hogan. I rooted for Rowdy Roddy and the Mach Man.
HOLY SHIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!
I have to watch this 10 more times. At least.
BASED.
Bobby Heenan was one of the greatest performers of my childhood.
That guy could ACT.
