Chauvin is a bad corrupt cop who should have been fired long ago from the police force.
Is he guilty of murdering GF....no.
GF died of a Fentanyl drug overdose, Chauvin should have called for an ambulance much sooner....but even this probably would not have saved Floyd this time.
Chauvin was in that burn out stage that happens at every job. Where you stop giving a shit and it all becomes a blur.
A cop should care about people. Their job is to protect people. I know it's hard dealing with bullshit day in and day out and they're probably forced to listen to lies all day long from real bad dudes, but if they're at the point where they lose their humanity, it's time to go. Honestly, we should put term limits on cops. Like a person can only be a cop for 10 years. After that, you gotta go. They should also be REQUIRED to undergo psych evals once a year to check to see if they are "burnt out". There's no shame in it. It happens to everyone. This should also (specifically) apply to all DOC employees. Because that's where it's the worst. Prison guards are fucking awful. It's like, you have to lack empathy if you're a prison guard.
Is Chauvin guilty of Murder 3?
No.
Is he guilty of manslaughter?
I don't think so, but that's debatable. (this is the big one that's going to decide Chauvin's fate, though manslaughter sentencing is on average something like 4 years)
Is he guilty of excessive force?
Absolutely he is.
Should he be a cop?
Absolutely not. He should have been gone a long time ago. These dudes want their pensions and retirement when they're performing a civic duty. They should be cops because they want to help their community and help people. Not to get paid. You have to be paid to live, I get that, but if a guy goes into LE wanting those checks, they shouldn't be cops. First and foremost, they should want to protect the people. Serve the community. Give back.
Floyd was a dead man the moment he lined all that fent. This is his MO. He's done this exact same thing before. He took a shit ton of fent as he was being arrested, he fights, he screams, he begs for his 'mama', he yells about not being able to breafe, he can't sit in the cop car, he resists arrest, and he OD's. Last time, he got taken to the ER, was kept alive, and was SPECIFICALLY TOLD that if he kept this bullshit up, he was going to die and he should be dead. The judge saw his OD/hospitalization and went easy on him. This is how Floyd dodges responsibility and prison time. This is his pity card. It didn't work this time. He rolled the dice and he lost the bet. This is the game you play with the most powerful opiate in the world. Shit will kill you. And when you mix meth, you don't even know you're fucking dying. Meth speeds your mind and heart rate up. It does nothing to combat your raspatory system from shutting down.
It's not about Chauvin, it's about the law. Whether you can be charged solely because of social pressure from extremists. Whether you can be charged with murder when every piece of evidence is to the contrary. Personally, I think Chauvin is a sociopath, and that he would have leaned on the neck of a white, 90 year grandma.
But I don't think he's a sociopath. I think he just got to that "I don't give a shit" phase at his job. We all know that phase. Where you just don't care anymore. It's all the same bullshit day in and day out. You begin to resent it and you start being passive aggressive with it because you need the job, but you hate dealing with shit. This is especially prevalent if you've ever worked in a customer service field. You get burnt out. You stop listening to people, you stop caring about what's happening, you stop having empathy. People aren't people, they're just idiotic, whiney cunts that don't listen, lie, and cause you problems.
That's the stage Chauvin was in and it's unacceptable that cops are allowed to get to that point. I can understand how they do since they have to deal with dudes that lie to them and treat them like shit all day, but if they're burnt out, they can't be cops anymore. We need to have a term limit on cops. 10 years. Max. At 10 years, you need to retire. They also need annual psych evals that determine if they're burnt out or not. If they are, they need to be dismissed or put on desk duty until they hit that 10 year point. They shouldn't be beat cops, detectives, investigators or anything like that.
I honestly don't think the murder charges are going to stick. I don't. Manslaughter? MAYBE. But there's a strong case against that. This is the real big one because if he gets convicted of this, we as a society have a HUGE problem because mob rule will reign supreme. Excessive Force? Yup. Absolutely. Chauvin isn't a murderer. But he shouldn't have been a cop. It's clear he's burnt out and that his burn out led to him getting in this mess.
I don't really like the judge in the case either. He has a habit of siding with the Prosecution when he shouldn't. This trial should honestly be postponed, the venue changed, or a mistrial after the fucking bullshit lawsuit settlement. There's NO WAY he can get a fair trial after the settlement. But the Judge pretty much said "Yeah, it sucks. But we're moving forward." Like, what the fuck? Can he not see how this is going to taint the entire jury pool? Can he not see how keeping this shit in the city makes it so he doesn't get a fair trial? The Prosecution is trying to block the jury from hearing about Floyd's past and previous arrest where he did the exact same thing. They're trying to keep anything about Floyd out because it looks REAL BAD. I don't know if the Judge has ruled on that, but if he denies information about Floyd's previous arrests to be heard, you'll know this is all a fucking sham and justice is dead.
No matter what happens, this case is going to drag on for years, because shits going to be appealed no matter what.
I support the lack of support. Watch them eat themselves. Enjoy the show.
"I’m not rooting for Derek Chauvin anymore because he probably..."
What a cringy thing to say. does Fuentes support thought crime now? Who knows if Chauvin would've enforced mask mandates.
Fuentes sounds like a faggot from antifa who wants to defund the police.

I agree with you.

Yup...exactly.
Yeah, I really don't give a fuck about any city cop at this point. If you work in a democrat run shit hole city, you chose to work there.

You don't have to support the man but we should support the principle that Chauvin didn't kill George Floyd.
