I was a GA delegate in 2012 when Ron Paul ran, the GA GOP has been packed with establishment types at least since then. That's why 2020 happened, they thought they could get rid of Trump and then hold the Senate with Establishment friendly Perdue and Loeffler.

It takes a focused, concerted effort for a repub to win a statewide ga election. None of the top leaders will ever have that again. We need different leaders. Kemp and Duncan and Raffensberger are finished, and I'm not convinced yet they weren't conspiring with Dominion. This has yet to be investigated.

Far too often people read some sort of vast conspiracy into the actions of people like this when the reality is that there has always been a section of the GOP that never really cared about anything other than their taxes being threatened by democrats, and only paying some lipservice to some of the other causes important to flyover Americans, so they saw Trump as some existential threat and were all to happy to "kick him out" so they could go back to business as usual.
