FBI is probably running it. How many "militia" groups in the 90's were nothing but government stings? Many instances of a 10 man "militia" with 3 FBI, 3 ATF and 3 other gov. agents and 1 lone real member. They even had agents telling on other agents not realizing it.

No, they got us to organize WITHIN our communities. If you're wise, you've already had discussions with the fighting age men in your area with similar mindsets.
If SHTF and you're hunkering down, you better already have a plan to defend your neighborhoods/homesteads. We can effectively close down 800acres to 3 chokepoints in my neck of the woods. Takes 6 trucks/trailers to block the roads and funnel anyone not on foot.
There’s lots of ways, both politically and culturally, that you can get back to that second picture that doesn’t involve overthrowing the government.
As long as any training you do is on defensive techniques, and not offensive techniques, they’ll have a hard time claiming you’re anything more than a local militia, prepared to defend your town if the cops all decide to stand down again.
Even better would be talking about secession instead of revolution. The level of organization required for the latter cannot happen because of the FBI. But it's legal to talk about secession. It can be discussed openly. And even though they won't just let us go, that would be foreign aggression rather than all of us planning terrorism. It's the only remotely possible way out now.
Didn't it turn out that Proud Boys leader was a Fed Informant? That was really funny, and it shows how fake all this stuff is. Like you said, they probably have more 3 letter agents than real members.
If by “informant” you mean he gave up two names of big-time drug dealers, then I guess so. Most people think of an “informant” as somebody who is on the payroll though, and he’s not that.

edit: i just wanted to expand on this. i didn't get a chance to before mass. anyway, not taking your cellphone with you is a data point against you. what that means is.. you are tracked regardless. street level cams (traffic cams, doorbell cams, ring, nest, dashcam on police/gov vehicles, etc..) with cv/facial recognition all feed into the same system accessible by the intelligence community. this is already here and has been here since the early aughts (maybe earlier if you believe the 1998 movie Enemy of the State w/ Will Smith and Gene Hackman).
when things don't add up, as in.. you were obviously at location A, but your device wasn't at location A, why wasn't it? Those two data points always correlate, and if you're being investigated or questioned, those two data points will not be in alignment. I remember a WIRED article where the detectives questioning a suspect asked exactly that question.. for which no good answer can be provided (hurr durr i forget it every thursday at 8pm when we meet. or, hurr durr i forget it every time i meet this specific person).
This would also potentially raise your XKEYSCORE, but who knows what that system has evolved to in the recent years..
