Clean up the pork in the bill or just ask for clearer legislation and implementation to avoid unintended consequences. Now media pundits and those w/ special interests are using this to push a false narrative to smear Noem to those who don't understand policy. Read her thread on it, and how/why she did it, and/or read an article that actually has accurate analysis on this - as someone that both researches/works in public policy, and also works in higher-ed, she is 100% right, and the bill needs to be revised in order to successfully deliver the intent/outcomes it's claiming to deliver

1: she doesn't like the "anabolic steroids" aspect of the bill. She claims it allows students who catch other students using steroids the ability to sue the schools.
2: she basically bows down to the NCAA and says that the bill shouldn't include college sports bc of the other 49 states and she doesn't want to make the NCAA mad.
