It's a really poorly known and understood but hugely important reason for why we are where we are with this stolen Presidential election. And probably many other stolen elections.
I made a lawyer friend aware of a this several weeks ago, and she was just completely flabbergasted such a thing could exist and be allowed to go on.

Like wtf. How does that not just lead to embedded fraud/corruption?
But in the end it didn’t matter. May as well have been for 100 years because the GOP we too chicken shit to contest an obviously fraudulent election.
