If these troops were deployed to Iraq, would they consider a large unarmed angry crowd charging into Parliament to insist on certain parliamentary procedures being conducted at the same threat level as an organized and well-funded armed mob conducting a month’s-long campaign of firebombing cities, setting up armed freeway checkpoints, and attacking and killing civilians and troops?

Because I think there’s actually a military doctrine manual somewhere with an accompanying powerpoint that discusses that.

Soldiers should repeat "there are FOUR LIGHTS" when their questions are challenged.

Please expound on the four lights doctrine

It's from Star Trek TNG's Chain of Command episode, where Picard is held captive by a Cardasian who shows him 4 lights but tries to get him to say there are 5. Even under pressure Picard maintains there are 4 lights.

It's a type of brainwashing/torture, it's happening to all of us right now. No, the election graph didn't jump, they'll say. No, Biden didn't cause the crisis at the border. No, he didn't really fall on those steps. 5 lights and comply, comrade!

Here's more info: https://scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/12050/why-four-lights

A great episode but you also kind of have to know Captain Picard too. On the topic of Star Trek... another excellent episode is The Inner Light if you're so inclined.

It's a reference to star trek. The aliens were trying to brain wash the captain of the enterprise. They would show him 4 lights and ask him how many there were. They wanted him to say 5 but he wouldn't give in.

CZ was a PJ with a tier 1 unit. Sad to see him become a fucking turn coat.

You don't get that far with playing the game. Anyone who thinks the military isn't political either has never been in or never talked to anyone who has done more than 4 years.

You're preaching to the choir.

He took his post under Trump so the thought was maybe we were actually promoting war fighters again. Sadly, it was just more of what has become all too common.

I didn't mean to imply that you weren't in or did know. I should have clarified it wasn't you specifically. I was 100% against people who never served being president until trump because he wouldn't have been able too. I'd say I'd like that back but the military has become so left I don't even want it back at this point.

Who cares about Seattle, how about the June attacks on the White House and the Treasury Department Annex?
Not only were those more violent, but they were wholeheartedly supported by the democratic leadership in DC, including Pelosi and Harris. Every response by the executive branch was met with a flurry of congressional inquiries. The responses to those inquiries were immediately leaked to colluding presstitutes to spin in the media.

Just wait the top brass will find a way to purge all who question the narrative.

They do it all the time every few years. in my short 4 I've seen some great marines get railroaded while shit bags re-up despite having njps because they were related to or were connected to someone just important enough.
