This is idiotic. Being in the army does not mean you lose the right to hold your own political views. Can't participate in criminal activities, sure, but there's no legal definition of "extremism", it's just anything your Biden-installed communist CO disagrees with.

Technically speaking, you do give up your constitutional rights when you join, so they can order you to not hold political views.
