As a long-time Cord Cutter it is jarring to see TV shows/commercials on occasion. The Leftist propaganda and anti-white anti-male anti-Christian "programming" is blatant now.
Even as an atheist who doesn't want religion in public schools (churches and the home are fine, as are most of the principles touted by protestant Christians, as those values match the English enlightenment ethic), the anti-Christian propaganda is jarring.
Exactly, even as an atheist the Christianity-bashing was bothersome to me, very mean-spirited and condescending. They were insulting the beliefs and lifestyle of my family and almost everyone I knew (apart from the Leftists I knew who were always giddy about subversive "entertainment.") Even though none of that anti-Christian stuff was aimed at me personally I still felt the overspray. I wasn't the kind of person to ridicule my church-goer family/friends for their beliefs, I just felt they were misled and being taken advantage of by their profit-hungry mega-churches and of course felt fortunate to not be involved with that. Nevertheless, I knew them to be good helpful people for the most part and they did not deserve the kind of slanderous ridicule Hollywood has been manufacturing for 50+ years, portraying all Christians as enablers of evil authoritarian hypocrite profiteers like the Jim/Tammy Bakkers and Ted Haggards.
