I've been saying this for years now: MSM/ad agencies are pushing Leftist narratives and lifestyles more than the "product." It's a very consistent trope that females of all races are the strong competent Problem Solvers, while white males are portrayed as bumbling rubes. (Black males are generally portrayed as white-collar professionals or computer experts, white males are most often seen as some form of negative stereotype like unmotivated slackers or burglars.)

Yes. They think being champions of STEM and diversity will reflect well on their brand. They truly, truly do not realize how its making them be perceived ... unless people speak up. The marketing leaders at lots of places are clueless. They are trusting ancient market research companies vs their own eyes and ears.

It's making them look ridiculous when they go to such lengths to over-represent statistically-small outliers like female lumberjacks or black male father figures.
