They didn't mention just how old those "kids" were either. When they say "unaccompanied minor," many people are thinking of that famous picture of the little girl crying, and we're picturing thousands of little children in the clutches of human traffickers. (Well, Dems don't care about the trafficking aspect) The few times I've seen ages mentioned, it turns out most of them are older teens - or claiming to be - that are being sent ahead, still in the clutches of traffickers, because they'll be allowed to stay and can bring their family over in a few years.

They should never have been allowed to even stay at all. If you can put them in buses to take them to "refugee centers" in other cities, then you can drive those buses to the border or put them on a plane back to their country of origin. If you're an honest refugee, then you should go through a legal process at the first safe country. You don't get to pick and chose the richest country, and living in a poor country does not mean you're a refugee.
