i just had a horrific discussion with a family member that accused trump of seperating families and caging children. when i tried to find stuff on that google literally gave me 3 sources, being cnn, nytimes, and wapo, i knew that their 'factchecks' are manipulative bullshit.
can anyone link me something that explains why 'trump seperating families' is wrong?

It's not wrong per se.
When the illegals are rounded up and put in detention, they don't put kids in with the adults. This is because perverts are in there.
Secondly, illegals were buying children and using them to gain entry. Most people are willing to let kids in, so they were just using them as meat shields, then raping them or abandoning them on the other side of the border.
These children were also trafficked or sold to perverts.
They can't prove these children are theirs and no adults come back to claim them.
This is originally an Obama policy, putting the "kids in cages." the pictures you find online were from the Obama administration, and separating the kids from these adults was not bad policy.
that sheds some light on the issue, thank you. so the statement "trump seperates children from parents" should rather be "trump seperates children from adults, until proven they're their parents".
