Was meth somehow proven in Hunters case?

Not that I don't think it's possible but I just find it hard to believe he would recover from smoking meth. It's way worse to quit than crack and the continued to this day abuse would be more visible, almost impossible to hide. That's all.

I thought the most addictive drugs were cocaine, nicotine and opiates.

If I recall correctly meth had nasty physical withdrawals but the psychological addictiveness profile was much less severe.
