Not that I don't think it's possible but I just find it hard to believe he would recover from smoking meth. It's way worse to quit than crack and the continued to this day abuse would be more visible, almost impossible to hide. That's all.
Technically meth and coke don't have "physical" withdrawals. It's more of a "mind tricks" Categorization is shaky but it's more or less like:
opiate, for example, or benzodiazepine withdrawals are called physical because not only the brain is affected - bowel movements (in case of opiates) are fucked because they also have opiates receptors, nervous system beyond the brain is also fucked.
all the "unpleasant" effects in case of stimulants are limited to brain function being out of balance and they're classified as psychological withdrawals
While cocaine fucks with serotonin and dopamine tracts, indeed, smoking meth literally fries dopamine receptors, causing up to 1200% of dopaminergic activity, which also lasts for longer, taxing the brain heavier. While cocaine nasally lasts for 2-3h after single dose, crack for approx 15 minutes, meth lasts somewhere from 6 to 10 hours after one hit.
Also meth marathons are taxing on the body. Dehydration, malnutrition, skin picking, all the good things. While people are somehow able to eat after cocaine although hardly, it's almost impossible on meth.
Yeah I used to take lots of adderall and I didn’t really have issues stopping. I just missed a doctor’s appointment and figured whatever I’ll stop taking it.
I used to stay up for a week at a time to work on school and play chess and then sleep on the weekends.
Was meth somehow proven in Hunters case?

I thought the most addictive drugs were cocaine, nicotine and opiates.
If I recall correctly meth had nasty physical withdrawals but the psychological addictiveness profile was much less severe.
Nah, meth is way worse.
