My husband and I often say this watching old movies - we miss the days when a character’s race wasn’t a defining part of the character, it was just who he was. He was a cop who happened to be black, rather than a Black man who happened to be a policeman.

Literally no one cared AT ALL about this in pop culture while I was growing up. No one in my family cared, or commented about who was what in movies, music, and television. Whitney Huston, Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Danny Glover, Mike Tyson, it DIDN'T FUCKING MATTER WHAT COLOR THEY WERE, They were rock stars.

Literally NO. ONE. Cared until Dems started needing to whip votes and make sure they were needed by being the saviors of their fabricated crises. THIS is why they started destroying inner city black communities with crack. They needed a culture war.

No one cared when I was in school in the 80's to mid-90's. All races mixed together. No freaking issues. We all got along. Now, segregation is back on the menu.
