Ownership was in the hands of one guy with big dreams. They kept raiseing money to keep it going but it seemed like it was never enough. Then the guy in charge would ghost for periods of time and sometimes serious IT issues would happen while he was MIA.

Not sure what the final nail was. I know a lot of the folks at poal.co are voat refugees...and its pretty obvious a few have migrated here.
