There are a lot of people who are intellectually lazy and went a long with the media that are going to have a very nasty shock down the line and a bad taste in their mouth.
They have been told and go along with the notion that Trump has been trying to block legitimate voting. They're not only going to find out they were lied to but that all this time they've been defending election fraud.
That's why it's a drawn out process over the course of years and it's not going to get everyone but the ones it does will be facing particularly serious ramifications more than just falling for a trick but what they were roped into.
I think it will be very interesting for when Harris takes over and does their ministry of truth and reconciliation. Someone working on that team going through all the records is going to have a reality shock when they find nothing corresponds to what they saw happening on the news at all.
I do really think a lot of people are going to find themselves in a situation very reminiscent of 1984. Even a stranger sense of Deja Vu if they read it many years ago then perhaps forgot about it.
Sooner or later someone somewhere will stumble upon that scrap that tells a different story entirely. They'll probably suddenly feel very lonely even among their traditional peers.
Perhaps go to the pub or somewhere they don't usually go to ask people they don't normally associate some questions. If you look at the media and big tech they now hire huge numbers of content moderators to basically do what that guy in the book was doing.
You're going to have some of them in that position for real.
