The Euros have the advantage that their entire countries are the size of our states. You can stage some pretty impressive protests when everybody lives within driving/train distance.

The Europeans that stayed eventually overcame the tyranny. They still have some of that fight in them. Not much mind you, the Napoleonic wars, WWI and WWII were not kind to people with an inbuilt tendency to dig in and fight, come what may.
They didn't break police officer's arms and ribs and shit, and actually storm into a manned station. They did kill people but most didn't actually die during the riots just during the time frame. Other than that all they did was loot and pillage.

Lawmakers should have clearly defined in the bill what is and is not violence and written the bill such that it addressed those issues specifically. You have to revoke the Left's right to redefine words before you can write laws to deal with them -- that's WHY they redefine words.

When you have cops beating and arresting military veterans for wanting to lay a wreath at the cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday, then the same cops allow Extinction Rebellion to stage a "protest" at the same site an hour later, then the police have lost my trust and support.
