That's actually one of the worst options IMO. Secession means China will undoubtedly be allowed to build bases too close for comfort.

Love that secession option! The best government is local government! Ottawa (and Washington DC) are a long way from everywhere!
Peaceful secession is my favorite as well. I'd be more than happy to make my exit to one of those states than overseas.
