That is the secret to happy and healthy living. If your heritage is something to be proud of, educate yourself and carry on the traditions that are excellent whatever they may be. If your heritage made mistakes and you are ashamed, pick yourself up, use that as a guide to how not to love your life and make a new heritage to be proud of for your offspring and their generations to come that they can look back and be proud of. Either way you are here and now. Live like it and make yourself proud.
