I really feel duped being one of the first people when all those video came out telling people about it. They were all staged now in my opinion. They used us internet autists hook line and sinker in that regard i think.
In truth, I think we were also somewhat primed by all the zombie movies and TV shows. They are typically bullshit where we suspend disbelief for the sake of entertainment. That's usually harmless but helped short-circuit rational thinking about what was actually going on. The simple truth is that with modern western hygiene practices, there are limitations on how dangerous a highly infectious virus can be (and vice versa) which is why they had to hype it so much.
So I saw the videos from China where they were welding the doors shut on apartment complexes with people inside.
Pictures of entire families dead.
Trucks fogging the entire city with anti viral.
Troops lined up outside buildings, keeping people inside.
Armed EMT collecting people and throwing them in hospitals.
People dropping over dead in the streets.
Over crowded hospitals with corpses everywhere.
China disappearing social media telling the truth.
China lying about, and hiding everything.
My point is, we had legitimate concerns. I think the virus had mutated to something much weaker by the time it got to the US.
