i had to go into the ER twice this summer for other things. The place was a deserted wasteland. I expected a scene like Scarlett O'Hara running across the field looking for Ashley and the place was EMPTY!
thats completely normal for more rural/less urban areas. in the same way it is normal that hospitals in big cities are close to the capacity limit. BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS ARE!
that is the same reason why not every small village has a hopsital, it would be too expensive to not operate with a guaranteed average capacity. and why big cities dont have proportionally big hospitals, it is more economical to have smaller hospitals that are scattered over regions and can maximize the optimal patient capacity.
infact, im living in a 60k citizen town and our hospital is about to be closed for good, because it can not operate economically enough
and they still do. im told atleast once a week how hospitals are overflowing with patients now...
