Had an argument with the gal-pal a few days ago about this. She's afraid to take any stands because it risks her employment. My buddy is afraid to say anything against the narrative because he doesn't want to risk his income; for his family. I contemplate this often. How much is enough? How much incremental encroachment finally crosses the line? And then what? Would you violently resist a cop for confiscating your guns? I don't know that I could. He's in the same boat. What if the state injected your daughter with testosterone against your wishes and arrested you for calling her by her biological sex or "daughter?" Is that enough to warrant violence? Protecting your family? How much will we tolerate censorship? When did we let hundreds of thousands of unarmed American-flag waving people singing the national anthem become "insurrectionists?" Not saying this to incite. It's a deeply personal, moral conundrum that none of us have truly faced, nor considered in earnest. Some of us took oaths to protect and defend, and we took it for a document over any political party. When is it enough? Our law enforcement agencies are corrupt at the top, our intelligence services are corrupt at the top, our politicians are corrupt, and many orgs/agencies are being weaponized against the people. This isn't even addressing the fact the media propaganda machine is %70+ controlled by one party. If Biden came out tomorrow and said "I am arresting all Trump supporters," it would be easy--but we all know that's not how this goes. I will personally manage an extremism stand-down at work, and execute it to the best of my ability because it is a lawful order, all while knowing it is a political piece spearheaded by those most guilty of trampling upon the Constitution. I feel guilty for it, but it doesn't seem like a good enough catalyst for a "stand." So then, what is YOUR plan? Not "the plan," because I trust that like I trust the Clinton Foundation to handle money ethically. Your plan. Mine is to finish my current employment honorably and then involve myself at a local level in politics. Shape the culture and government at the lowest possible level, and try my hardest to uphold the oaths I have taken, personally and publicly. I do not believe we have the stomach, nor unity to truly water the tree of liberty as some might advocate. I certainly do not, mostly for a lack of clarity on what well to drill. Truly, God help us. But in the meantime, figure out your line in the sand, and how you each plan to address it. It's up to us. No help is coming. Join or Die.
I hear you, but last I read it was 77% dem, 7% repub for journalists. So although I completely agree that the upper echelon is Uniparty, even the "reporters" for MSM are only one super majority of groupthink, and that's what I meant. It's actually terrifying to consider the complete domination of all major information from one very un-American progressive perspective.
The threat is real. My kids will be fired if I even post something on Facebook that goes against the narrative. They've successfully consolidated us here.
