I have been using this when talking to the VA. 8 years fighting for disability for combat injuries I have xray proof of. It's pretty sad that I would get help quicker if I went to mexico and crossed the border jllegally. Getting injured in combat just is not quite enough for or the big guy to care to help us.

There was a news documentary called delay, deny, hope you die. It showed how bad the corruption spread within the VA.

Remember when they let like a hundred old vets die in AZ a few years ago. Everytime some retard say we need universal health care my immediate response is go take a look at the VA that should change your mind.

Not a hundred, but a bunch died last year at the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke, Mass.

I don't know if it's connected to the VA, I think it's run by the state. Regardless, it adds to your point - this is how government health care treats old people.

Health care run by the government will be run by the people you meet at the DMV.

Yeah wasn't there a "missing" person that was just dead in a stairwell for more than a month in the one in Mass or was that a different VA hospital thing?
